She definitely proves she is no longer a pop singer. It looks like Ike told her “You gone sing that song.” She puts it down.

I thought that Christina Aguilera’s performance was offensive to all African American’s,She made a mockery of James Brown.They should of had a Black performer do the song.Jamie Foxx looked mortified.
Christina Aguilera proved that she has the best voice in the business. To say it was offensive to all African Americans is a joke, regardless of colour.. listen to the voice, why does race always come into it? Get over it.. Jamie Foxx looked stunned that christina could sing that well. Its regarded at one of the best grammy performances of all time.
I am a women of color and there is no room for racism in this performance. Christina Aguilera is by far the best damn singer of my time and this current time. I am 64 and was raised by a opera and jazz singer, I know music and I know talent. She rocks for this century and the upcoming centuries because with that god given voice she ain’t going nowhere anytime soon. I

Yes the first poster was ignorant. Christina gave a great preformance with passion no competant judge can deny. That was undisputably the best tribute that night.
