Scottie Pippen Is Broke and Trying to Comeback To The NBA

This story makes my stomach hurt! During All-Star weekend, Scottie Pippen hinted that he wanted to make a comback to the NBA. There was a lot of speculation, but the true answer surfaced on Friday. Pippen is being sued by U.S. Bank for $5.021 million due to principal, interest and attorney fees from a dispute over a private jet and company Pippen once owned.
Here is Pippen’s Response:
“the charter-plane issue is one of many poor business decisions that were made primarily by a former agent, whom he blames for causing him to lose about $27 million in bad investments and questionable accounting.”
I could even go there with him because there are a lot of stories of players getting duped by con men who pose as agents. But a little further research into Pippen’s salary history(not including endorsements, playoff winnings, and other appearance incomes), Pippen should not be broke.

Now, the federal government comes in and takes a good 40%, so you’re to $54 million. Of course, the state grabs boat loads of money too, and add in all the property taxes, big homes, sales tax. It’s just about the amount he lost in business ventures — which makes him BROKE AS A JOKE! Pippen is broke because of bad investments and his lawyers screwed him. He wasn’t the guy blowing 10k a month on partying. It was all real estate and other investments in Arkansas.
My neighborhood talked bad about Pippen for sneaking around corners and hiding when visiting his Aunt who had a nose just like Pippen without speaking to them. I didn’t know the man didn’t tip. But whoever gave him a tip to purchase the jet because he was a frequent flyer needs to be shot. Pippen was one of my favorite players. I wish I could slip him a few business plans right now.

Pippen stayed at the Penn in Chicago back in the day for like a week. He never tipped anybody during his stay.

Good point about the tipping, however it is customary to tip for services. Pippen is difficult to figure out, it kind a shows you what fame and fortune can make people blind.
