It has been a rough off season for the New York giants in Divorce court. First Michael Strahan is forced to pay his wife $15 million and now Amani Toomer is in divorce court.  This case has not been decided yet, but the details that have been released are ugly.

Toomer is trying to have the marriage annulled due to Fraud and she is seeking divorce. He alleged she has had 4 abortions because she did not want to have is kids.

She says he will not let her go to sleep without having sex with her.

She is obviously seeking half and the court has already awarded her $11,000 a month in support. She is a chiropractor that is currently in law school. They were married for four years.

Is this a case of a white woman using a black athlete to pay for school and get rich with no plans of staying with him? Is he stupid for not bailing after the first abortion?

He should have know something was up when she refused to take his last name!

The brotha was upset! After Eddie Murphy did not win the Oscar on Sunday for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dreamgirls, he and his girlfriend, Tracey Edmunds left the show.

By leaving early, he did not see Jennifer Hudson win for Best Supporting Actress and he also did not see the rest of the Dreamgirls cast perform.

It is easy for me to say I would have stuck around to show support, but I like to win even more than the next man, so I could also see myself bailing out.

Is he wrong for that?

Forest Whitaker is still heavily desired by his ex-girlfriend, Monique Miller. Even though the couple has not been together in over 11 years and he is married with children, Monique tells World Magazine, she dreams of the day when he is back with her and their son to form a happy family.

I think it is safe to say she needs to move on! She also may want to think of some kinder words to say, if he even thought about coming back.

She says “”He was not the best looking man in the world. He was hardly a typical movie star—slightly overweight and with a lazy left eye. But he made up for it with his magical personality.”

TMZ has reported that Bobby Brown has been arrested again for failing to appear at a child suport hearing.

This is the second time he has been arrested for child support, the first time was in 2004. The judge suspended the original sentence after he paid $14,000.

The cops said he was really cooperative and even used their cell phone to call for bail.

Do you think he called Whitney or his new lady friend?

I have read this in a few other blogs and I have watched this several times and I am still not sure. Either way it is one hell of a performance, but with all of the rumors about the beef between the two and it being rumored Beyonce was unhappy with the success that Jennifer has received, you have to wonder.

When watching the video, about the 3:15 mark to the end of their performance, It does look like Beyonce is trying to one up Jennifer a bit. What do you think?

This story makes my stomach hurt! During All-Star weekend, Scottie Pippen hinted that he wanted to make a comback to the NBA. There was a lot of speculation, but the true answer surfaced on Friday. Pippen is being sued by U.S. Bank for $5.021 million due to principal, interest and attorney fees from a dispute over a private jet and company Pippen once owned.

Here is Pippen’s Response:

“the charter-plane issue is one of many poor business decisions that were made primarily by a former agent, whom he blames for causing him to lose about $27 million in bad investments and questionable accounting.”

I could even go there with him because there are a lot of stories of players getting duped by con men who pose as agents. But a little further research into Pippen’s salary history(not including endorsements, playoff winnings, and other appearance incomes), Pippen should not be broke. Read the rest of this entry »
