MTV V.J. LaLa Vazquez and her fiancé, Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony, welcomed their baby boy on Wednesday afternoon, according to People magazine.

      “The baby is absolutely gorgeous and I am so excited to have seen my first grandchild!” said Grandma Carmen Vazquez of little Kiyan, who weighed in at 5 lbs., 9 oz., and measured 18½ in. long.

      “The anticipation is always high this time when you’re about to have a baby and about to be a father,” Carmelo said before heading to the hospital.     

 Any chance they will get married soon since they have been engaged since 2004?

It may sound bad, but most other people actually go to jail. Naomi Campbell has been sentenced to five days of community service for “accidently” hitting her maid in the head with a cell phone.

She’ll sweep, scrub, and tidy up, all while in indoors, away from the prying press, according to a law-enforcement source.

“This is not a desk job. She’ll be mopping floors,” said the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Campbell was hit with five days’ community service for striking her maid in the head with a Nokia cellphone - “accidentally,” she claimed.

Scolavino needed five stitches, and is the last in a line of four maids and assistants who have accused the hissy catwalker of attacking them.

Campbell must also complete two days of anger-management counseling. She’s scheduled for sessions on Saturday and Sunday at a Department of Probation-approved facility in Brooklyn.

Yeah right! She will be sitting in the office for 5 days hanging out and making phone calls!

BET had their annual Rip The Runway show last night for all of the fashion designers. I didn’t watch it, so not too much I can say about it.  Found some good pics though

What the hell else could Russell Simmons say? He couldn’t stand up there and rip the two of them and threaten Djimon that when he catches him in public he would mash his face in.

Russell said exactly what he was supposed to, that he’s just fine with his estranged wife, Kimora Lee Simmons, spending time with Oscar nominee Djimon Hounsou.

People  quotes Russell as saying “He’s wonderful guy, a very sweet guy.I want her to be happy no matter what.”

A rep for Hounsou had no comment. Kimora’s rep, Keesha Johnson, told PEOPLE Tuesday, “I’m not commenting on it at this point.”

Now he needs to find himself somebody!

Here we go again! Ron artest was arrested Monday for domestic violence after he got into an argument with a lady at his home and pushed her to the ground several times.

The argument started inside and spilled outside where Artest continued to push her down. He also would not allow her to call 911. Once outside, he attempted to get in his Hummer and leave.

She threw a pot and broke the windshield as he was leaving.  He was released on $50,000 bail.

The Sacramento Kings have suspended Artest indefinitely, although he is being paid.
