When Al Sharpton makes statements about Barack Obama not being black enough or has not done enough for the “community,” is this the type of shit he thinks he should be doing?

Yesterday, Al Sharpton had a press conference to denounce violence in Hip-Hop and said that we should advocate against all artist that use violence to sell records. This press conference was caused by Tony Yayo slapping the 14 year last week.

I would agree that the violence in Hip-Hop is a problem, but a small problem. Are these the issues we need our “leaders” pursuing. I think not. When Sharpton rips Obama about not doing enough for the community, he needs to realize Obama will not win the election with a platform that suggest a deeper investigation into the deaths of Tupac and Biggie.

This type of pointless press conference is what annoys the hell out of me! Find something real to protest about or don’t have a press conference.

To add to the ridiculousness, Michael Williams was there to speak out against the violence. You may know him better as Omar from The Wire. His character is the most violent on TV and he is denouning violence. Puhlease!! Hypocrite!
