Don Imus Gets 2 weeks suspension

 Well the first step of appeasing black folks by MSNBC and CBS radio is to hand out a 2 week suspension to Imus who made some very racist, insensitive, and plain ignorant comments about the Rutgers Girls Basketball Team.Â
I don’t know about you but I am tired of white folks making bogus ass statements and jokes about blacks and getting off light because they offer a sorry ass apology.  Imus contends that he was joking and thats the nature of his show. He and his sidekick Sid Rosenberg have been in trouble before for silly ass comments. Here in 2005 Sid got fired from the station for making jokes about women with breast cancer.
At what point does the stations own up to their hosts comments and take appropriate actions.Â
COME ON BLACK FOLKS
We need to keep the pressure on, he needs to go for good.

The remarks were offensive,being a woman. I’m sick of Al Sharpton stirring up trouble. The remarks would have just passed by unnoticed-but one more time Al Sharpton had to stir up trouble. Every day remarks are made about white people. we don’t yell racist. The blacks can talk bad about whites, make fun of them and say bad things in songs. It,s time to tell racist back.
I am so sick of white people who really truly believe that they have a right to make ignorant, nonsensical statements about Blacks because some Blacks make that mistake. I have never heard a Black man such as Tavis Smiley on a nationally syndicated televison show news show make a statement about “White Trash, Skanky Ass Hoes”, referring to a group of young White women. Although, we as Black people make ignorant statements, music and the such about our selves, White people have done to much to Black people to think that type of shit is cool. I mean think about. White folks enslaved my people for over two hundred years and although we were set free from slavery’s bondage, we were never considered equal. That is why instutionalized racism against Blacks still exists. That is why rich, old white men such as Imus thinks he could get away with making an ignorant ass statement such as that. Although, he still walks away with millions he made over the years, I bet his ass is humilulated as hell. A bunch of “Nappy Headed Hoes” cost him a job and he had to grovel to Al Sharpton.
