Barack Obama Takes Lead From Hillary Clinton In Latest Poll

It’s still really early and there is a margin of error in these polls, but it is worth noting that for the first time, Barack Obama is leading Hillary Clinton in the polls.
The latest poll released by telephone research company Rasmussen, shows Barack leading Hillary 32% to 30% among likely voters. This is even more significant when you consider the same company had Hillary leading by more than 12% when they conducted their survey in March.
The momentum is headed in the right direction!

I really hope Barack can get a fair shake in this election but as you have written before its real disappointing that so many Blacks aren’t even getting behind his race. This election is important on many levels. The Obama/Clinton race is the first of many hurdles, the second will be either a black man or a woman winning the presidency over a White male republican. After that what will happen with this war because Bush will leave his seat and the next person will be left holding the BAG OF SHIT.
I like Senator Obama vs. Hilary Clinton, or any other Democratic candidate for that matter. Although it is still too early to tell, I hope our country has learned its lesson from the horrors and tyranny of the Bush Administration. Too often “we the people” get dupped by those in political office, and its for one main reason: poloticians do not have to be accountable to a people who are not accountable to each other. Everyone knows this country was sited as being “One Nation under God” and although there are many valid critisisms to the blatant contradictions to that declaration, we did actually have the right idea. As always, we see that between knowing what to be and actually “being” are a world of differences. How ironic is it that as we die in other countries for the said cause of establishing democracy we are loosing the battle to perserve the freedom that was won on our own soil. People are far too often won over by poloticians who recite some simulance of our values, and bribed to sell out our brother and abandone our neighbors because we hold values at a distance and lack conviction. Poloticians are in essence a reflection of our own hypocrisy. How are we to have a government that really reflects the freedom we say we love so much? Are terrorists the true enemies to our freedom, or is indifference? Far too often we think the polotician is supposed to have the conviction that we lack for our veiws. Poloticians are veiwed as saviors and given too great a responsibility. Democracy is supposed to be a system of checks and balances. The people are accountable to government and govt to the people. All were to be accountable to God. But in a society that removes God given freedoms and replaces it with self proclaimed ones, how can we ever be united. Values have changed and freedom has been distorted, abused, controlled and neglected. All true freedom is bought with blood, and the value of that freedom is expressed in how we perserve it. Who’s blood is being perserved in this country? Whose sacrifice is being cherished. We’re in a country were the men who spilled their blood did so for different reasons ( I am speaking of the Civil war), some to perserve freedom for a select few,and others to ensure freedom for all. In the end righteous blood wom many their freedom, but there has been a strategic force to destroy the freedom that others bought for us. We love the benefits of freedom, but (no one in jeopardy of loosing freedom today) actaully wants to perserve what was already established. Self proclaimed freedom is not true freedom, and is therefore not a true right. A mad man can not just decide because of his appetite for violence that he has the right to take a life no more than a child can decide they want to run up a 1000 dollar phone bill of 1-900 calls and then expect their parents to “tolerate” it. Can we identify God given freedoms vs. self proclaimed ones? Will this country collectively turn its heart back to God, that a collective move that requires an individual starting point. Godly values can not be merely enforced by government, because govt is a reflection of the people and visa versa and both are to be a relationship that represents God’s values. We don’t need anmore right wing conservatives trying to shove morality down the throats a people who have had no heart conversion, especially when they themselves have not reflected the conversion they promote so much for a political platform. Nor do we need hippie minded liberals who want to dillute morality on a grand scale so everyone can just tolerate the other, which removes accountability, responsibility and replaces true brotherly relationship with cold and aloof indifference. So what will America reveal about its condition in the upcoming presedential election? There are so many issues at hand and so many answers needed, nut have we really identified our problem. As I watch the race, I know the answer is not in the hands of one human, but as the face of our next president emerges I anxiously anticipate the values and veiws that will truly be reflrected by our votes. I hope people will realize the true road to freedom is paved in the heart and can only be achieved with purity, sacrifice, and Love.
Hands up for Barrack Obama. I hope that, the Americans will this time around select a black as their president. A merica is the only country on this planet that preaches alot about democracy. As much as they preach, they should this time around append their signatures to Barrack obama. The whole world is watching to see how things are going to unfold. The americans must stand to be counted by their actions rather than by words.
