Secret Service To Protect Barack Obama After Death Threats

We all knew it was coming! Barack Obama is receiving death threats so severe that he will now be protected by the Secret Service. Candidates are usually protected after the primaries, but in an unprecedented move, the Chief of Homeland Security has made the decision that the Secret Service needs to protect Barack.
Now he would not be receiving these threats if they did not believe he has a chance of winning. For those out there threatening Barack, you may want to take a listen to his theme song!!

I feel for Obama, but I can’t say this wasn’t expected…now that he’s clearly more popular than what the critics want him to be, we see that a part of America (the governing part) still isn’t willing to judge a person based on the content of their character, rather than their skin color. The secret service doesn’t sound like a comfort though, they’ve been tied to scandals and conspiracies with other Presidents and with the CIA so why would Obama feel safe with them in his corner? If he’s looking for protection, it’s going to have to be of a divine nature, our government just can’t be trusted, especially not in a situation like this. That’s why I was saying in other blogs, Obama running signifies a lot for us as a people and a country, he’s like a compass that can lead us back to honesty about our countries real problems and issues. I’m so sick of our government distracting the masses with smoke screen issues that they only use to get into office, while the real source of our countries problems are never brought up on the presidential platform. Whether Obama wants to address these issues or not, he has no choice but to if he continues to pursue this, being a black man in the running dictates his worth more than what he may even realize. Obama is already making history just by being a legit black campainee, but add the fact that he’s got a really good chance of making it to the primaries and maybe even winning and becoming the first Black President of the United States of America, and you’ve got to factor in the opposition from the haters, who are cleverly dispersed and hidden to the naked eye mainly because they are (punks) who are supported and funded by the many white-collar (thugs) who work on capitol hill—What makes me even sicker to my stomach than the death threats being put on Obama, is the fact that so many black people still don’t know what this election is about and what it could mean for us as a people if we’d wake up and stand together for a change, and have a common thread that binds us together, one greater than Jigga, Flava of Love, and Run’s House. Putting your life on the line and dying for what you believe in is honorable, death is inevitable for us all, so it’s best for us to choose the life we want to be remembered for. But to put your life on the line for a group of unthankful, stubbornly and tragically illusioned people, who,( like they’ve already done to our ancestors), will not even so much as say thank you, let alone live a life that honors those who stood up for our rigts, is more than what my stomach, heart or my mind can bare. I just remember some of the comments some black females made in a previous post when I posed the suggestion that this campaign would be a chance for blacks to unite and the females I’m referring to, trivialized it by turning it into a male vs. female debate (in defense of Hilary Clinton), rather than understanding what I was referring to as the bigger picture for us as a people and really for our nation as a whole, I can only hope their is no out there who still thinks America’s problem of hatred and racism are an issue of the past. It’s an issue at the govermental level. The attitudes people harbor against our people that rear their heads in radio talk shows, judical systems, law enforcement, work places, etc, are only a reflection of leadership. When are we going to stop letting the poloticians and media lull us to sleep with “non-issue” polotical debates,hip hop controversies, gay marriage, etc.? When are we going to stop trying to get a peice of the pie, by chasing after an American Dream that is so cleverly propagated by this same media–the dream they entice you with is a dream that was never meant for (YOU) to acheive! So the fact that some actually do acheieve it by playing by some one else’ crooked rules should not be celebrated as an acheivment! Wake Up! In order to get at it you have to sell your own soul and sell out your own heritage–Don’t you know your own worth, black man and black woman, what are you really leaving behind for your sons and daughters if the love for money is the only value in life you’ve given to them? (Look at the Native American, where are they today? Why didn’t they get a chance at this so called “American Dream”–why were they killed off for what they believed in?) When are we going to stop letting media and entertainment set the standards that we accept in our society, when are we going to start taking the lead, and being the one’s who stand up for ourselves and decide what direction we want to take for our children, our legacy? When are we going to realize that we didn’t come this far on our own and that Allah,Farrakhan, Buddah, Karma, etc., had nothing to do with it?! Freedom is only won by blood, blood is the highest value of earth, because life is priceless, since freedom is also priceless, only life can purchase it, their are no short cuts, money can’t buy it (freedom), money can only buy you (sell outs)…freedom requires a life sacrifice. Our own people who built this country and died on its soil to defend the freedom of their children’s children’s children, proved what they thought about our worth by laying down their own lives, we have yet to return the favor. No one wants to perserve freedom, everyone just wants freedom’s benefits. I shutter to think of the judgement that is awaiting this country because of its refusal to change its stance on race and class,and it’s deliberate initiatives to “ration” freedom and quality of life so they can divide people and breed hatred. I shutter even more for my own who have embraced this countries ideologies and refuse to stand up for what is right, just so they can have some level of gratification for the here and now.Whatever you buy into you truly will pay for, so you better make sure you really no the cost. As with Christ people fail to undertsand the need of His sacifice for us, that must be why my own people still debate over religion and question it’s validity. But my own people walked in the shadow of Christ, and serve as a prophetic message to this country, yet we still wonder who OUR God really is? We still don’t know our own worth, and the value of freedom?! Buddah and Allah, don’t prove my worth, they might say some things I agree with and might suggest some things that make people model citizens, but, although that’s better than being completely immoral– that’s not the definition of worth. We still would rather live in bondage with a few comforts than struggle to keep true freedom. It’s sad to say the least.

I correctly predicted the recent horrible conflicts in Africa, Ruwanda,
Congo, Kenya, Somalia, and now the looming disaster to come in Zimbabwe. I really do not see any easy way out without a major conflict, my optimism is not based on a cystal glass, but on relevant political analysis.
Now coming to America, whether the fear for the potential assassination of Obama is based on real or perceived concepts, (given the similarities of Obama to both Kennedy and Martin Luther King). The post analysis of what would happen if Obama were to be assassinated paint an extremely grim picture of the United States. There would be massive uprising that parallel a civil war, the killing and destruction of infrastructure would be something none of us can remotely define. In the end the America we know now, even after George Bush’s onslaught would be impossible to recall from the ashes any observer would be standing on. This is not based on the fact that people are just emotional about Obama, but this nation is at the brink, tempers are high and the ammunition is set, no jobs, houses being lost, rep-off artists like insurance companies getting away with murder, the common person ha no recourse, the court system or clogged etc. The nation only needs a spark like that to set it on fire. Therefore, anyone with sense will not only protect Obama, but will do their best to focus on how the man is our only hope of turning around this boat caught in a water current towards the Niagara Falls.
I agree wholeheartedly and I respect in succession all the previous comments made by the respondents. “GOD” IS THE ONLY WAY AND WE MUST HAVE FAITH IN WHAT IT IS THAT HE SHALL DO AND ALLOW HIS WILL TO BE DONE”. I know that Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden are both “GOD’S CHILDREN and they have been called upon by “GOD” to restore the nation’s trust while also being the catalyst to relieving the country of it’s worst economic crisis ever. And we as supporters must be patient and understand that this was not done overnight the kaos that we are currently facing so please allow the courtesy to them to rectify it and know going in that it will not be done in merely just one term. It is Mr. Obama and Mr. Biden’s eyes when you look into them you see how truly geniune they both are and that they are compassionate towards “ALL PEOPLE” and sympathetic for those who are less fortunate. It is clear that each has had some not so pleasant experiences in their lives as well and that they seem to
really connect by having been their themselves with the current problems that our nation’s individuals are going through today. I
must admit I am impressed thay have been cool, calm and collective and even when being attacked especially Mr. Obama in his debates he was a gentleman. I see him as a cross between JFK and Dr. King a peacemaker a man looking to resolve the issues not to create more. In conclusion I must say that we have two men who have put their lives on the line again I say especially Mr. Obama because of the death threats and all but still as Dr. King’s famous speech seem not to be worried and are striving for that look at the promise land and what it means for the American people.
