Laurence Fishburne Working The Big Screen

If you listen closely this summer in the blockbuster hit “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer” you can hear LF’s voice. Larry (which was his name back in the day) is the voice of the Silver Surfer.
Fishburne is heading to Vancouver to begin shooting the crime thriller “Tortured”. The filming begins Monday on the film that centers around an FBI agent (Cole Hauser) who infiltrates a crime syndicate and has to torture one of the accountants played by Fishburne.
If you want toture you can watch Biker Boys and see LF in the tightest purple shirt ever…

Did anybody do a post of the Fantastic Four Movie? I went to see the midnight showing and gave the movie an overall
C+. The characters seemed more like average everyday people than super heros. I think they focused a little too much on personal aspects and insecurities this time and not enough balance between that, their super powers and the villians. Doom might as well had been non-exsistant in the movie, he almost just seemed to like a lame filler to pacify for the sloppy neglect to actually develop a plot for the real villian in this movie. Silver Surfer was all right, but the movie failed to really focus on his relationship with Galactica the way I had hoped. It seemed like they made the common mistake of riding too much on the comic book story, presuming that movie goers already understand the relationships and history of all the charcters. The problem I have with that is that it left way too much to be desired, as far as creativity is and action was concerned.
Fishburne is truly a fabulous actor. He’s sexy to me.
