Fantasia Performs at Tony Awards

Fantasia Did her thing last night at the Tony Awards performing “I’m Here” from “The Color Purple.” Well, that’s what I am guessing because no one saw it! Fantasia did not perform until after 11:00 and was not shown on TV. That’s not really too cool.
After thinking about it for a sec, I realized I had no clue what the Tony Awards are for, so probably not many people I know were watching the show anyway. She still didn’t have to perform when the cleaning crew was working!
Also at the show as presenters were Phylicia Rashad and Taye Diggs.

I don’t know where you were watching from but her performance was televised at about 10:45 p.m. EST. You are right about one thing, she was really great.
I truly had to laugh out loud on this post. As you realized that you might not really know what the Tony Awards are, it just goes to show that there are too many award shows anyway. Also nobody should have been watching the Tony’s anyway, the Clevland Cavaliers are playing in the NBA Finals!
