Tameka Foster Opens Up To Essence About Usher

I wouldn’t really call it totally opening up. More like disagreeing with everything that is said about her. There has always been a lot of speculation about why they got engaged and that she was the reason his mom was fired as his manager.
Here are some pieces of the Interview:
Essence.com: How does Usher get along with your three sons?
T.F.: Usher loves my children. My ex-husband and I have joint custody. It’s a wonderful arrangement that allows me time to do things with Usher one-on-one and to spend time with the kids. I’m not looking for a father for my kids because they have one. They just happen to be lucky enough to have two strong men in their lives.
Essence.com: You’ve been labeled a “poor mom” because supposedly, you’re never with the kids. Your reaction?
T.F.: Do you think Usher would really be engaged to a woman who would leave her kids? My children are with us much more than people think. They’ve gone to the Bahamas with us and attended play-off games. I purposely keep my children out of view. I don’t want them scrutinized and talked about because that would be a problem. Everyone wants to know, “Where are her kids?” Out of these pictures, that’s where.
She sounds like a dead-beat dad usually sounds. “We took them to the Bahamas and to Playoff Games.” Hope she didn’t think she was helping her cause.

She has a somewhat masculine appearance (strong jaw and chin, robust build) and she’s just sooooo OLD (looking)!!! I can’t get passed how akward these two look together, I mean don’t they ever see the pictures they take? They look more like mother and son–to me that should be a indication something’s off. Their definitely the odd couple of 2007.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with Usher and Tameka getting together. No one ever said anything when usher was with Chilli and she is about the same age as Tameka. the brother likes older women, let him do his thing. As far as the criticism of people not seeing them with her kids, that’s crazy. kids need to be sleep and some of the times that Usher and his fiancee are out. Many other times kids are not welcome at bars or rec carpet affairs, so cut them some slack and let them live a little.
No one said anything because Chilli didn’t look like a 40 year old transexual, this is a better pic of them, but she still looks noticeably older than he does and there’s plenty of other pics that show she’s just not cute…if you think I’m alone in my comments check out the pics and what some other people have to say…

When oh when will you dumb shallow people stop watching looks?? This is why your lives are so hollow and boring, so what if she’s older? So what if alicial keys is better looking than her? I dont know Usher and Tameka personally but i know that regardless of anything at least He is not shallow. He married a woman who has 3 kids from her previous relationship, and is presentable. It proves to me that Usher is Real unlike so many of you fake a**, beauty,clothes,face, make up and money watching fools!
Dayuum if a divorced mother of 3 can land a hottie like Usher i think thats a compliment to all mothers out there. Happiness is unrelated to looks you dummies, i mean look at all of these vacant brained “Hotties” that date models or actresses and go through more sexual partners than i do toilet roll!
Also thought id mention that if you check men like Snoop etc, although you see all these clone lookin females in his videos, his wife of many years is an average looking black woman. Respect is due to all the men and women out there that are Real!
As for the chick that went lookin for “ugly” pictures of Tameka Foster, you need to get a life you just mad that Usher dont want shallow a** you :p
It is sad to see so many people in Usher and Tameka’s business. There is so much hatred in this world that it is really sad. Ppl are caught up in looks and image. Did they forget everyone has feelings!! I mean we are all human and have feelings so way cast judgment on anyone. There are so many other things to worry about than the next person’s relationship. Both Usher and Tameka are happy at least that is what I see. Tameka may have made some mistakes in her past but Usher was willing to look pass them and accept her for who she is and to me that is a real man. I am sure Usher had some secrets to share with Tameka and she was able to look pass them as well. How many of us have made mistakes and don’t want ppl judging us on it. Also, age differences really do not matter as long as both ppl are adults and are mature. So many ppl get married saying they are in love and then divorce 3 to 6 months down the line. How about being in love with the “One”. This is a true statement and when I read a variety of items from Usher and Tameka I felt what Usher said when he made that statement. Those who have found the “One” no exactly what that means and it is big. I know what it means. I pray everything works out for them because everyone deserve happiness and peace. Usher and Tameka if you read this post my prayers are with you. Stay encouraged and keep God in front of all obstacles.
Ok. Admittedly she is a little older than he is. I mean, I was shocked when Ashton Kutcher married Demi Moore. They are both gorgeous actors but the age gap is substantial. I think the reason why people are buggin out over this marriage is because physicially Tameka doesn’t fit the bill of what the wife of a superstar “should” look like according to society’s standards. She is an average Jane. Sure, she is not the best looking. She’s not ugly though. I mean when she smiles her face definitely softens a bit. She is one of those women with strong facial features. If photographed at the wrong angle she can look a bit masculine. All that aside, obviously Usher finds her attractive. He loves her enough to have unprotected sex with her and marry her. So that has got to count for something. My personal opinion is when she first stepped on the scene I immediately got this gold-digging kind of social-climbing feeling from her. Now that’s just me. That doesn’t mean she is a gold-digging social climber. It just means she tends to come off negative and always on the defensive like she is hiding something. Could be because she is up against so much ridicule. Personally I don’t think she is ready for paparazzi lights and the stardom that comes along with Usher. An average Jane wouldn’t be. Which is why she comes off aloof, and bitchy, and nervous at times. I find that most female gold diggers tend to follow the golden rule. If all else fails, get pregnant. I wish them all the best, however I am not so sure this union will work out. It happened all too quickly. Give it some time. Let them live together for a while. Get to know each other, learn all each others imperfections. See her truest form. If he can handle who she is through and through Then maybe they have a chance. I mean I seriously don’t think she would divorce him so he would be the one filing if it happens. If it gets to be too much, you can bring the curtain down because this show is over.
Ha, all I got to say is she definitely don’t fit the cookie cutter, however she is the one who got him out of all the millions of women that would love to be in her shoes. She must be a pretty darn confident woman, whom God found favor in her.
