50 Cent’s “Baby Momma Drama”

Curtis Jackson, aka 50 cent is battling with his baby’s mother Shaniqua Tompkins in a Long Island family court over child support payments. 50, currently pays $25,000 a month in child support and household expenses for his 10 year old son Marquise.
Tompkins demands keep escalating due to Jackson’s G-Unit record label, clothing line, ringtones and other enterprises which reeled in an estimated $33 million last year. He has sold more than 11 million albums and has a new album, Curtis, due out in September.
Closed-door hearings on the child-support case are scheduled to continue this week.
Side Note: Last Friday, 50 arrived at the courthouse in an armored SUV with a satellite dish. Its must be rough out there

$300,000 a year in child support that is non-taxable and she wants more? I’m no 50 fan, but this is ridiculous.
Talk about a gold digger. It doesn’t matter how much money 50 makes, as long as he is taking care of his son then he’s doing his job. $300,000 a year is outrageous. The judge should verbally smack this chick and then she would hve grounds to ask for some more money for pain and suffering.

some times we have to keep the dick out the dirt she is fucked up there are women that would be happy living the way she is living son dad loves him and always there money or no money…before 50 was pushing records he was pushing roc,s just to take care of his son and that is big some men would not take the 5000 that the label gave them and flip it to take care of there son they would have bullshit it away…….she should thank god all day long her son has a good dad and he is good to her as well….dont bight the hand that feeds you….!

Sorry you are having so much trouble with all of this right now. If you keep your cool, and pray about it, I believe the system will help you. The judge probably doesn’t wish to make her extremely wealthy from your heartache. I hope you find someone who will love you for you and could NEVER use you for her personal gain.

His son deserves to live as well as 50 cent does. If he’s worried that the ex-girlfriend will waste the money, perhaps 50 cent should set up a trust fund or college fund for his son. If men are so upset about child support, they should be more responsible about who they sleep with and who they have babies with.
I think his babymama is greedy as hell 25,000 a month is well more than enough for her and the baby.She need to take that and be happy as hell because some women aint getting close to that. Yes I think 25,000 a month is a ridiculous amount of money; I don’t even make that much in a year. But when you consider that he makes over 30 million a year it does seem like he could pay her more. Most child support rulings are based on a % of what the dad makes- and if you look at it that way he is not paying anywhere close to the % of his income that most dads pay for child support.

it’s nice to see he is taking care of his son (wish my dad did that for me growing up) but more importantly he spends time with his son… i can’t get my daughters dad to do that and we live in the same house!

50 should of course help support his son but thats it. As long as his son has what he needs and wants and gets whats good for him then thats it but it sounds like the mamma is trying to live off his money too, she should be a real women and say just give our son what he needs and she needs to support and take care of herself and get her own money as long as 50 is a good father thats all she should be worried about.
