If you are like me, a child of the 80′s, you could only hope that the latest Transformers movie did the cartoon justice. The previews did not show much at all. I was intrigued, but I was also cautious about what I was going to watch. I wondered if the director and producers would be able to capture the emotion and awe that the original Transformers inspired. They succeeded. I knew they had done their job during the scene when Optimus Prime first appeared in the movie. I found myself talking to the screen and clapping when it was all said and done. By no means is Transformers a cinematic classic, but it is fun and it was done right.  Go see it and let me know what you think.
