Russell Simmons Urging Sponsers To Drop Michael Vick

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons is urging sponsors of football player Michael Vick to stop supporting the sports star after he was charged for operating an illegal dog-fighting operation.
Earlier this week openentrance.com reported that Vick was indicted by a federal grand jury for “conspiracy to travel in interstate commerce in aid of unlawful activities and to sponsor a dog in animal fighting venture” on July 17.
Animal-loving Simmons has teamed up with civil rights activist Reverend Al Sharpton and People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) President Ingrid E. Newkirk to write a letter to Vick’s sponsors.
Since Vick’s controversy, Nike has announced it is dropping plans to release a special Nike Air Zoom Vick V football shoe.

Al Sharpton and Russell are the worst. Only speaking up when there is a headline opportunity. I am not sure why we still consider Sharpton’s remarks to be relevant. He is the worst ambulance chaser our generation has ever seen. Go find some real issues!

Dogs are special to be loved and respected and Vick is not. He is scum, no matter his ethnic birth, the guy should be caged inside with the dogs, pets he stole to be killed. I am no fan of the criminal Sharpton who first lied about Tuana Brawley and a fake rape and again in the Duke case where he took 2 sides to hide. But I’m a sleeze too, when I back Sharpton as I do today when he goes after killer Vick. Joining with the enemy works just fine with me, when it’s to go against Vick, bring anybody out who’ll deck him. That Vick should be thrown in prison but better… with the dogs to kill him and torture him, as he did them. That’s my favorite call.

Michael Vick had the ability and the opportunity to be the best ever, instead he was just a stupid piece of shit.
