Say It Ain’t So Pac Man…Say It Ain’t So
Posted by RodAs if news about our professional Black athletes wasn’t already bad, it may have just gotten worse!!! Apparently Pac Man Jones is in discussion with TNA Wrestling about joining their organization since NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has suspended him for 10 games. Now it hasn’t been confirmed that Pac Man will be apart of TNA, but it is possible an announcement will be made as early as today.
Is he serious? This brother is one of the best punt returners in the league and a pretty damn good corner, but instead of concentrating on doing what he needs to do get reinstated for the last 6 games he contemplating wrestling. That career move would probably be synonymous to Cuba Gooding Jr. signing on to Daddy Day Camp.
Oh well if he is considering it, let us consider a few possible names for Pac Man:
1. FOP (forever on probation) 2. King Assault 3. Mr. 81Gs
Somebody get this brother a power pellet so he can start making some better life decisions.
Financial Tip Of the Day
Posted by DavidInvest in growth funds
If value funds aren’t your thing then maybe look at growth funds. There are many different breeds of growth funds. Some growth fund managers are content to buy shares in companies with mildly above-average revenue and earnings growth, while others, shooting for monster returns, try to catch the fastest growers before they crash.
Aggressive growth fund managers are like drag racers who keep the pedal to the metal while taking on some sizeable risk. These types of funds often lead the pack over long periods of time - as well as over short periods when the stock market is booming - but they also have some crack-ups along the way.
Growth funds also invest in shares of rapidly growing companies, but lean more toward large established names. Plus, growth managers are often willing to play it safe with cash.
As a result, growth funds won’t zoom as high in bull markets as their aggressive cousins, but they hold up a bit better when the market heads south.
Consider them if you’re seeking high long-term returns and
MTV Names 10 Hottest MC’s In The Game
Posted by BrianMTV has named who they think are the 10 Hottest MC’s In the Game are and I must have missed when Lil Wayne became so hot. I heard the mix tape and it was hot, but making him numero uno? I think Not! This is definitely a controversial list. Here is how they ranked them:
1. Lil Wayne 2. T.I. 3. Game 4. Andre 3000 5. Kanye West
6. Young Jeezy 7. Jay-Z 8. 50 Cent 9. Common 10. Jim Jones
Although Andre 3000 spit a super hot verse on the Walk It Out Remix, but he doesn’t have enough quality material as of late to make him #4. His last good album was about 5 years ago.
The crew must have been smokin rocks when they put The Game at number 3 or even on the list for that matter.
Jay-Z still goes to the top of my list and unless we go back to his first album, 50 Cent should in no way be on this list.
Since MTV obviously could not get it right, I have taken the courtesy to correct their list. Here it goes:
1. Jay-Z 2. T.I. 3. Kanye West 4. Lil Wayne
5. Ludacris 6. Young Jeezy 7. Common 8. Andre 3000
I will stop there because there are not 10 Hottest MC’s, just eight. No need to add filler to my list.
