Al Sharpton Leads Another Lame Protest Against Rap Music

Posted by Brian

Al Sharpton

I can not believe there are not bigger fish to fry!

Al Sharpton and his National Action Network led a rally in 20 cities to again protest the lyrics of rap music. The labeled their rally, “The Day Of Outrage.”

I would absolutely agree with that name. I am absolutely outraged that on a day when three black college students are killed execution style and another left to die after being shot in the head, this is where he chooses to rally.

Even if there is a need to clean up some of the lyrics of rap music, if Al is going to continue to be called a leader of the Black Community by some, then he needs to stop picking battles that only make head lines and actually fight for some things that will make a difference.

Making a speech when all the cameras are shining is not that difficult. Bringing light to injustices that have flown under the radar and need to be addressed is much more difficult and is needed. That is what Sharpton should be doing for us as a leader.

But I forgot, when all else fails, BLAME IT ON RAP MUSIC!

    Al Sharpton. WOW …

Al Sharpton was Nifong before there was a Nifong(remember his claim to fame? Tawana Brawley) That’s when we began to be bothered with him. All he does is jump on TV to be seen. I thought for the longest that I was the only person who notices it. He is such an embarrassment. The sterotypical dumpy, loud, ignorant, perm wearing, chicken and watermelon eating, greasy pimp uh … I mean preacher..yeah preacher.

His display at James Brown’s funeral was just disgraceful with all that damn screaming!!! what ds hell is you hollerin about? But he wasn’t alone. When James’s daughter got up there and said that Today was Jesus’birthday and he called James Brown home. They are having a birtday concert for Jesus and James Brown is the Headliner.” I was at home and I held my head in shame at that idiotic comment.

Back on Al. He and Jessie are bing touted as Black leaders as if we held a meeting and elected them our leader. WTF? Black America is a whole hell of a lot more than Sharpton running around yelling racism but cowtowing to the white agenda and pleasing the power structure by attacking rap music. The Jessie runnign around blackmailing companies with threats of protest marches and statements crying racism if they dont either pony up money, or put a black in a executive leadership postition. The money in all instances always goes to either a charity he heads and is in control of, a charity he is on the board of, or a charity of his associate. Attention called to the anheiser Bush distributorship in chicago. He blackmaled them and threatened to cry racism if they didnt award it to a black .. the black in this case who got it were no other than His SONS!..He also threatened to pubicly denounce the Verion merger … they gave money to his charity. I guess he needs hat extra money to pay his baby momma…. wow a preacher with a family and a baby momma… and he is the moral standard for all blacks … Puuleese…

Al sharpton thinks he is a celebrity with the likes of Beyonce, Denzel and Trya Banks … he makes it a point to go to all of the award shows and take his big sasquach daughters … all umpteen of em … If you want to make a statement an award show would be the perfect place to protest and appeal to rappers and music execs… where they are being AWARDED for this behavior you are rallying against. He is instead skinning and grinning in their faces with his happy ass in the front roy (GOT TO BE SEEN AT ALL TIMES)then turning around and holding a rally when he is out of their company… probably because he know the “real” gangstas of hip hop wouldnt think twice about stompin a mudhole in his ass if he stepped to them with that BS. He should really go away and stop embarrassing us ..Reverend Puuhleese… i’d follow him only if I wanted a non stop express ticket straight to hell !!

    Tawana Brawley controversy

On November 28, 1987, Tawana Brawley, a 15-year-old black girl, was found smeared with feces, lying in a garbage bag, her clothing torn and burned and with various slurs and epithets written on her body in charcoal. Brawley claimed she had been assaulted and raped by six white men, some of them police officers, in the village of Wappingers Falls, New York.

Attorneys Alton H. Maddox and C. Vernon Mason joined Sharpton in support of Brawley. A grand jury was convened; after seven months of examining police and medical records, the jury determined that Brawley had fabricated her story. Sharpton, Maddox and Mason accused the Dutchess County prosecutor, Steven Pagones, of racism and of being one of the perpetrators of the alleged abduction and rape. The three were successfully sued for slander and ordered to pay $345,000 in damages, the jury finding Sharpton liable for making seven defamatory statements about Pagones, Maddox for two and Mason for one.
