 As previously reported on the Heavyweight Bout Sept 11th post, Curtis “I’m Stanky Rich” Jackson and Kanye “Louis Vuitton Don” West are set to square off for recoerd sales supremacy. Obviously the streets and the media have been buzzing about this date and who will come out on top. Well Fif has once again fired shots not just at Kanye but at you the fans. Here’s what 50 had to say about the release date controversy:

 ”They would like to see Kanye West give me a problem because I’ve worked myself into a space where I’ve become the favorite,” Fif told SOHH exclusively. “Everybody roots against the underdog when he goes against the favorite.

“Put it like this,” 50 continued. “Let’s raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer write music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more solo albums.

“And I bet this, when Kanye West’s sales come in, he’s gonna have a 70% decrease [the second week] ’cause Def Jam is gonna buy records to keep him closer to 50 Cent,” the Queens rapper added. “So watch the first week and then watch the second week. Watch his @#* drop off the planet. We keep our angles covered before we make a decent bet.”

What’s funny about this is that they recently worked together on Fif’s upcoming album but Kanye’s beat and other notable producers beats didn’t make the cut on this album. I’m not a big fan of both to be honest with but 50 pops off way too much about other artist. You know his fan base is off the charts despite what the growing masses are saying about him and his music. This could be good because Fif may have recruited tens of thousands of fans to Kanye’s cause. They both have hit records out right now but I must say 50’s “I Get Money” is the definite smash this summer so we’ll just have to see. We got about a month left to see who wins the sales battle. Either way it goes I’m asking for quality from both artist but it would be nice to see Curtis fall flat on his face. Mr. West you got an uphill battle so good luck Kanyeezy fans.
