Michael Vick Is Still Ballin

Michael Vick In Jail

Not sure that playing football in jail is the smartest thing to do, but Michael Vick is doing just that to keep active in jail, although the money is not the same.

According the NY Daily News, Mike Vick is playing ball and has a job washing dishes at $.12 an hour. Is $.12 an hour legal in jail? An upside is the Vick has been in contact with Atlanta Falcon’s owner Arthur Blank through mail.

“”I just try to be supportive and as understanding as I can be,” Blank said. “He talks about the process he is going through and what he has learned, the lessons of life, how he’s going to come out a different person. He’s sorry he has affected so many people in a negative way — the league, our club, our fans. He feels awful about that. The letters sound quite sincere to me. From a mental standpoint, he sounds good.” I told Michael I’ll do whatever I can to be helpful to him personally. Nothing to do with the Atlanta Falcons,” Blank said. “He’s a human being and I would like to reach out and if I can be productive to him in some way, I would be happy to do that.

Although Vick will probably never play for the Falcon’s again, It’s pretty cool that Blank didn’t just turn his back on Vick and pretend like they were never good friends. Luckily when Vick plays football in the yard, he plays QB for both teams because that is not the best place to make everyone look like idiots. The consequences could be much worse than a 15 yard penalty. It takes a long time at $.12 an hour to pay someone off. That’s a lot of pots and pans!

Not from what I have heard lately. I think he is pretty close to filing backruptcy which is so sad considering how much money he had.
