New video which is basically a bunch of snippets from their current Heart of the City tour that started last month. All of the reviews have said the show is well worth the money, so if it has not made it to your city yet it is worth checking out
TI Owns Up To His Mistakes
Posted by Brian
In his first interview since being arrested and now convicted of gun charges last October, TI gives some insight what happened and how he has changed. What I found most interesting is that he is taking total responsibility for what he did rather than the standard “I Was Framed” plea. Here are some interesting excerpts from the interview:
Q. Who is T.I. — or Clifford Harris, Jr., now?
A. It’s hard to say because a lot of things are the same and a lot of things have changed. I still have a huge amount of passion for what I do. I still have a huge amount of passion for doing what I can for the community. I still have my foundation — remembering where I came from and principles that have been instilled in me. But at the same time I also have an acknowledgement of things that need to be left behind, let go. And also an acknowledgment that there has to be an about-face. A 180-degree turn, in order for us to continue on the path to success.
Q. Do you feel lucky?
A. I feel blessed. Lucky ain’t the word. It’s by the grace of God that I’m here.
Q. You had a very prominent car endorsement deal.
A. Sure. GM.
Q. Is that still in effect?
A. Nah GM had to back up off of me. There are films that I missed out on. Not speaking of, of course, shows. Tours. Tons of business. I’ve probably lost about $10 to $12 million dollars.
Q. And you smile after saying that.
A. [Laughs harder] Sometimes you laugh to keep from crying. But you know, I’m blessed to be able to be out here to make $10 to $12 [million] more. Especially considering I brought this all on myself. So you know — minimal injury. Maximum lesson learned.

Separated At Birth - R. Kelly & Sisqo
Posted by Brian
The competition has escalated! R. Kelly is now stealing a page out of the Sisqo style of fashion and going with the blonde braids. First Sisqo called Kells out on wax, now this. Both of them should have had one of their guys that pulled them to the side and had the “that’s not slick” coversation.
My vote is they both look ridiculous!!
Are Chili from TLC and Marlon Wayans A Couple?
Posted by BrianNaw, but they used to be, although no one really knew it. My friend Necole Bitchie does a really good interview with Chili on her blog that covers a lot of things you may not have been aware of.
Some Highlights:
- Marlon Wayans is her one love that she looks back and thinks he got away
- She still loves Usher although no longer in love with him
- She is looking for a husband
- And has a new album dropping soon

Congrats to Necole for landing the exclusive.
Ashanti and Fam Cover Sister To Sister
Posted by BrianAshanti is joined by her mother and sister on the latest cover of Sister 2 Sister magazine. I didn’t even dig to see what the article is about because I was more excited that she did not let her sister wear this outfit for the photo shoot or this one.
MC Breed Jailed For $200k in Late Child Support
Posted by BrianNot sure if he is still MC Breed or just Breed. I just not having an album in the last 20 years probably qualifies him to be just called Breed. Anyway, MC Breed was sentenced to five months in jail Friday (April 4) for failing to pay over $200,000 in child support to three different women. At the hearing, Breed’s lawyer told the judge that his client’s career has been on a downslide and that makes it difficult for him to pay the child support. “I’ve done my best to give back what I can,” Breed told the judge. “You’ve given back $50 in three years,” the judge responded “That’s the best you can do?”
The sad thing about this is not only did he not pay the child support, but that he knew he was going to court and that was the best excuse that he could come up with for not paying what he owed. I wonder which of the women got their hands on that hot $50! And even worse that his lawyer characterized his career on a “downslide.” The lawyer should be charged with perjury.
