Toni Braxton Hospitalized With Chest Pain

 Toni Braxton

Singer Toni Braxton was hospitalized in Las Vegas on Monday after experiencing chest pains. A rep for the Flamingo Hotel-Casino, where Braxton performs her Vegas show, said she was “admitted for testing.”

“We wish Toni a quick recovery and would like her to take the time she needs to regain optimal health. We are looking forward to her return at the end of the week,” Flamingo Las Vegas president Don Marrandino said in a statement to Access.

Braxton has been performing at the hotel since August 2006.

The 40-year-old singer suffers from a heart disease called pericarditis, which is an inflammation of the lining of the heart.

When she first experienced pain her chest years ago, Braxton told WebMD.com that she thought it was cardiac arrest.

“I was very fortunate that it was just pericarditis because it could have been a heart attack. It’s the same symptoms,” Braxton explained. “If I had known that the symptoms were tightness in your chest, perpetual fatigue, pain in your bra line, things like that all in the left side of my body, I would have went to the doctors immediately.”

Hope she gets well soon.

Stacey Dash

Although there is a little bit of photoshop that has taken place, there is not much as Stacey Dash is on the cover of King Magazine at 42. I guess I would have to get a copy of the magazine to find out what the article is about, but then again if you are reading King, articles and story lines don’t matter to you much anyway. To find out more about Stacey, go here.

Michael Vick Is Still Ballin

Michael Vick In Jail

Not sure that playing football in jail is the smartest thing to do, but Michael Vick is doing just that to keep active in jail, although the money is not the same.

According the NY Daily News, Mike Vick is playing ball and has a job washing dishes at $.12 an hour. Is $.12 an hour legal in jail? An upside is the Vick has been in contact with Atlanta Falcon’s owner Arthur Blank through mail.

“”I just try to be supportive and as understanding as I can be,” Blank said. “He talks about the process he is going through and what he has learned, the lessons of life, how he’s going to come out a different person. He’s sorry he has affected so many people in a negative way — the league, our club, our fans. He feels awful about that. The letters sound quite sincere to me. From a mental standpoint, he sounds good.” I told Michael I’ll do whatever I can to be helpful to him personally. Nothing to do with the Atlanta Falcons,” Blank said. “He’s a human being and I would like to reach out and if I can be productive to him in some way, I would be happy to do that.

Although Vick will probably never play for the Falcon’s again, It’s pretty cool that Blank didn’t just turn his back on Vick and pretend like they were never good friends. Luckily when Vick plays football in the yard, he plays QB for both teams because that is not the best place to make everyone look like idiots. The consequences could be much worse than a 15 yard penalty. It takes a long time at $.12 an hour to pay someone off. That’s a lot of pots and pans!
