Campbell Settles Discrimination Case

Posted by Brian

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has settled out of court paying thousands of dollars to Slovakian maid Ivana Lovas. The woman accused the model of racial and sexual discrimination as well as taking Campbell to an employment tribunal amid accusations of  the star making her life a “living hell” in the four months she was working for her. Lovas also claimed that the supermodel abused her when she threatened to quit and commented regularly on her language skills.A preliminary court hearing also heard that there were “two occassions of agressive, abusive and criminal behaviour” on the part of Campbell.  But now the case has been settled out of court.  A rep for Campbell has confirmed the case will be going no further, telling a British newspaper the Sunday Mirror, “I can confirm the matter has been resolved.”

This is not the first time Campbell has found herself in trouble with the law over her fiery temper – last year, she was sentenced to community service at New York’s sanitation department after she was convicted of assaulting another maid with her Blackberry cell phone.

Sounds like my girl Naomi has a bit of an attitude problem. A beauty queen, gone bad!!!! Now get to work or else…

To the untrained eye, I would swear that she just pulled the race card!

I’m very surprised by all the negative press about Ms. Naomi Campbell; she’s old enough by now to have matured from the wild and crazy Diva she once was – throwing things, hurting people and making a general ass of herself!

I also believe Ms. Campbell has deeper issues that can be resolved by spiritual and psychological interventions. Ms. Campbell needs to determine her life’s purpose, and make the effort to fulfill her life’s purpose in meaningful ways, so that her fans can appreciate her in meaningful ways; beyond the scrutiny of negative press and nasty comments about her antisocial behaviors! As beautiful and as she is, Ms. Campbell needs to be surrounded by children, giving hope to disadvantaged children could and should comprise one of her goals!
