Kanye West, “Lil Wayne is God”

Posted by Brian

Kanye West has praised Lil Wayne for his sucess by writing in his online blog, “I am pleased to know this guy. Bow in the presence of a true living legend in hip-hop. Lil Wayne the God.”  Lil Wayne’s album-The Carter III has sold more than one million copies in its first week as well as been the fastest selling LP in America since 50′s 2005 release of The Massacre.

I had an opportunity to analyze this album and hands down I believe that The Carter III will be the album that defines Lil Wayne. He is a genious and deserves credit for his hard work. On the radio this morning, there  were a lot of people taking shots @ Wayne, stating this album is whack and disgraceful. I truly disagree-love him or hate him, the album is Fire. Give it a chance…listen again and let’s talk! Great Rap music has moved past catchy beats and elementary ryhmes, now you have to listen to whats going on and enjoy the lyrics, style and delivery! Turn off your Radio’s, please…

Lil Wayne is clever, I will give the young whipper snapper that. But is he really saying anything? You know what WILL define his career? All the drugs he is taking….

I am shocked to see you praising this Lil Wayne feller….. You must be from Iowa or Ohio or something like that.

I appreciate the comment, but as stated in the post-listen to the album. The young whipper snapper is saying a lot, check out Dr. Carter, Mr. Carter, Tie My Hands and Comfortable…just a few to listen too.

In regards to the drugs, we are talking about the music not his personal life…even though there are many CEO’s, etc using hard drugs and functioning fine @ work!

You are hilarious- Iowa or Ohio resident…I might be ;)
