Ciara has just signed with Wilhelmina, a top modeling agency , who will focus on promoting the R&B beauty with more contracts in the clothing and frangrance industries. Currently she is the face of Jay-Z’s Rocawear clothing line, but is very excited about her new career path. In her latest interview she explains, “Modelling has always been one of my aspirations. But I was insecure about my height. I thought I was 5 foot 7 inches but I just found out that I’m 5 foot 8 inches so I’m really excited about that.”

Along with this modelling promotion, she will also be releasing a fashion line with discount store Steve and Barry’s, following in the steps of of actress Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bitten range. I have a couple of cool things that I’m working on. The coolest thing about Steve + Barry’s is they cater to everyday people. I won’t say that my line will be like theirs, I want to stay true to who I am, but most importantly it has to be affordable.”

I am very happy for Ciara…she has came along way since 1,2 step. I appreciate her promoting an affordable line of clothing for the everyday people through Steve and Barry’s.
