Freeman is currently mastering Mandela’s voice and heavy accent in preparation for this film that is based on John Carlin’s book Nelson Mandela + The Game That Made a Nation. Shooting will begin early next year in South Africa where the World Rugby Cup was held that year. It should be a great story as South Africa won the world cup in 1995 + Nelson Mandela presented the Championship Trophy to the delight of a capacity crowd.
