  It was posted a few days ago that 50 Cent, for the second time, had his album pushed back to a September 11th date. Well reports out of Def Jam are saying Kanye West is also dropping his highly anticipated album Graduation on that same date.

  Of course when Fif is involved with anything there has to be a certain amount of controversy due to his chronic trash talking and he has fired the third shot at Kanye and Def Jam.  He recently appeared on Hot 97 radio’s Funk Master Flex show in New York and said:   

   “I hope that they see and understand what’s getting ready to happen. I’m not moving. I’m coming September 11th. If Kanye come that day, then he come that day. That’d be great if he actually stays in that date. I think his people are smart. And he’s smart too. And I think they’ll move… Jay’s not gonna let that happen anyway. He’s not gonna leave him there.”

  Basically he’s saying that his sales will eclipse Kanye’s sales that day and it’s not a good look for him to drop that day. Nothing wrong with a little competitive banter but this isn’t the first time the Queens native has taken shots at the Louis Vuitton Don. In one interview last year 50 called Kanye a safe nigga because kids and tv don’t feel threatened by him and his image and in another interview 50 is quoted as saying:

  “[Kanye] said something in an interview one time that made me think about it. He said because he was raised by his mother, he has feminine ways,” he added “That right there is who Kanye West is to me. That statement is stuck in my head. He said it like he meant it”.

  He just can’t stop it seems. Although it’s a ways away I can’t wait to see Billboards first week sales.  Honestly I haven’t heard anything hot from Kanye yet and in my opinion 50 scored with his new single I Get Money so time will tell what becomes of this mess.  I hate to say it but I’m rooting for Kanye because I hate bullies and Fif’s been on the block too long talking reckless. Who do you think will sell the most that day? 

Due to being “Spoiled and Lazy,” Rapper 50 Cent has financially cut off his G-Unit Records label roster including,  Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Mobb Deep and M.O.P.

In a recent interview with XXL he explained that last year he spent $8.5 million of his own money to take care of the rappers in his camp whether it was personal or business related.

“Whether I got to give them $500,000 or $300,000 … Just ’cause they want $300,000 more to make what they “are” doing at the time comfortable. Like, ‘yo, I want to get this new place over here.”

Well, 50 has set the record straight, his camp will be on their own to make moves to support themselves financially. Truthfully, I am not sure if they can do it…maybe Young Buck, but that’s about it. It will be interesting to see how the future pans out for G, G, G, G-Unit!  

Now that I’m done laughing, did I hear that correctly that 50 let the “world” vote for which song he was going to perform? And Amusement Park got the most with over 100,000 votes. You gotta be kiddin’ me!!!  How many of those votes came from outside of his camp is what I want to know.  I’ll be honest, there was a plus to his performance.  And that is…I was not watching in real time…I DVR’d the show.  Believe me when I tell you there’s not much better than watching a 50 Cent performance in fast forward.  I enjoyed it so much I did it twice.

Curtis Jackson, aka 50 cent is battling with his baby’s mother Shaniqua Tompkins in a Long Island family court over child support payments. 50, currently pays $25,000 a month in child support and household expenses for his 10 year old son Marquise.

Tompkins demands keep escalating due to Jackson’s G-Unit record label, clothing line, ringtones and other enterprises which reeled in an estimated $33 million last year. He has sold more than 11 million albums and has a new album, Curtis, due out in September.

Closed-door hearings on the child-support case are scheduled to continue this week.

Side Note: Last Friday, 50 arrived at the courthouse in an armored SUV with a satellite dish. Its must be rough out there

Word on the wire is that Interscope executives want 50 Cent to re-record at least five new tracks for his upcoming album. According to mediatakeout.com,  one top executive wants to make sure that there is “at least one hit on the album.” 

Let’s be honest here, although this is a great idea by the exec., why didn’t someone think of this before he released The Massacre? It may be awhile before this album is released.  All I can say to the person responsible for this is…THANK YOU!!!!!
