The American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle will head to Africa on Thursday as part of the Malaria No More program to participate in malaria prevention programs.  Doolittle says, “traveling to Africa has always been a dream of hers.”  Doolittle is working the program with the first lady, Mrs Bush.  

Good to see her doing some good with her fame, rather than just filling up the tabloids, drunk at parties.

For the record, I don’t think Melinda looks like Shrek, I think she looks like Fiona.

Well last night America voted and Melinda Doolittle is gone.

I must say that with 2 black girls and 1 white guy left you gotta expect the black vote to be split between the 2 women.  So who evers wins the black vote would be in the finals.

Melinda should have a good future in front of her.  She appears to be a very good person and definitely has a great voice.  She was easily the most consistant singer throughout the show.

Now the questions can begin…

Did 60 million people really vote??? (or is it 3 million people voting 20 times)

Did Melinda deserve to go home?

Did Melinda and La’kisha lose because of their look?

While American Idol is so hot it is good to see another young black person is doing her thing.  Paris Bennett from season 5 of American Idol has some bad rumors going around saying she was hoping that American Idol fails.  She was reportly voting for Sanjaya to win the show to prove that best people don’t win the title of American Idol. 

Paris came clean and admitted that she would never hope for American Idol to fail and realizes that without idol she would not be where she is.  She is thankful for everything that Idol has brought her and wishes the show nothing but success.

The young performer does have an album coming out on May 8th entitled “Princess P” ans we wishes well with that.

This season Fit Club brings on a few recognizable faces. Joining the Cast this season is Chicago’s own Da Brat, West coast Rapper and regulator himself Warren G, and from American Idol Kimberly Locke.

I got a question that’s bigger than the whole cast of Fit Club…

WHO CALLED THESE HAS-BEENS CELEBRITIES?

If you can walk into a mall or restaurant and no one bothers you then you are not a celebrity. I can’t see anyone chasing this group down for autographs…

AND

They are not even fat…
