New Video for Upgrade You” from Beyonce featuring Jay-Z. This is clearly a video that was only made to ramp up the sales of the album because the video has no creativity.

The song is hot, but we have been listening to that for months. The video at best gets a yawn.

Am I being too hard on this video?

This video is pretty hot! Beyonce and Shakira look like they could be twins. I was hoping for a little more hip action and dancing, but that could just be me. A good video!

I have read this in a few other blogs and I have watched this several times and I am still not sure. Either way it is one hell of a performance, but with all of the rumors about the beef between the two and it being rumored Beyonce was unhappy with the success that Jennifer has received, you have to wonder.

When watching the video, about the 3:15 mark to the end of their performance, It does look like Beyonce is trying to one up Jennifer a bit. What do you think?

Beyonce and Jessica White attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Party in Los Angeles.

It was a small event with mainly news media in attendance. But these ladies still looked great. Everyone else is in Vegas or on their way for All-Star Weekend.

 

 Beyonce becomes only the second black woman to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue. Tyra was the first in 1996(shared) and 1997

Beyonce posed on a Florida beach in a yellow-and-pink bikini by House of Dereon, the fashion label she started with her mother, Tina Knowles. There’s also a photo spread inside.

The 2007 swimsuit edition continues with a music theme inside, featuring scantily-clad models posing with Kanye West and Gnarls Barkley just to name a few.

 

 

The 2007 Grammy Awards were one of the few times that I have enjoyed an entire awards show. The performances were outstanding and there was not too much of one or two people like usual. The big winners were Mary J. Blige, T.I., and Ludacris just to name a few.

I was pretty surprised while during her speech Mary J. said she had never won a Grammy before. That is shocking. Glad she can not say that anymore because she deserved a Grammy a long time ago.  For all of the winners go here.
