Jermaine Dupri said that he and Janet would soon be having a baby following her upcoming fall tour.

Jermaine said he is so excited to start a family with Jackson, he doesn’t even care if it’s a boy or a girl. He already has a daughter from a previous relationship.

“Janet would be a great mom. She was around so many brothers and sisters all her life, so she’s got to know what that is [like]. And her mom is a great mother. Jackson is also a great companion. The greatest thing in life is just to have a friend. When I have problems in life, I share them with her. When she has a problem, she comes to me.”

So the real question of the day is: After they have the baby, does Michael Jackson get to baby sit?

Janet Jackson has now joined the long list of “Old Time” celebs to star in a reality tv series. MTV’s project will consist of Janet mentoring up and coming singers and dancers in search of the next big star through unconventional means. The winner will receive a prize that has not been determined, although producers believe that they will relate it to Janet’s upcoming tour beginning  September 10th.

Executive producer Dave Broome says of the series, “It’s really about finding who’s the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. And we’ll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn’t typically find it from. We’ll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centres and try to cast the show.”

This is a comeback for Janet as she was blacklisted (rumored) from MTV since her  infamous wardrobe malfunction during a performance with Justin Timberlake at the 2004 Superbowl halftime show the network produced.

Hopefully this reality series will help with her current album sales. At this point, Janet is struggling…any  kind of promotion or national apperance should help as long as she doesn’t have a Jackson moment or breakdown!

Janet Jackson has been forced to send one of her three beloved pet bulldogs to school because he’s so naughty. The pop superstar had hoped to take all three of her pooches on her upcoming tour with her, but it looks as if one dog will miss out on the dates because he doesn’t get along with her other two mutts.

She explains, “He’s in Atlanta in obedience school because there are two of them that aren’t getting along. That’s more important to me right now than him coming on tour.”

I’m not one to tell another person how to run their camp or what should or should not be important. People love their dogs…I get that, but it seems to me Ms. Jackson should be focusing on getting her  new album promoted and not the ‘Discipline’ of her dogs.

Janet Jackson has another album flop on her hands – bosses at her record label have ceased promoting DISCIPLINE and there are no more single releases planned.  Jackson, who once broke chart records with seven U.S. top five hits from one album – Rhythm Nation 1812, has scored only one hit from her new release, Feedback.
And there are no plans to try to top that.  In a disappointing email correspondence to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Jackson writes,

“We started off with Feedback and the label and myself haven’t quite seen eye to eye since the Feedback single so they’ve kind of basically stopped all promotion. I’m trying to figure out a way to say this, but just to say it and to be quite honest, they just stopped all promotion whatsoever on the album, so I don’t think you’re going to hear another single off this album.”

At the height of her popularity, Jackson scored 19 hit singles from just three albums – Control, Rhythm Nation: 1812 and Janet. And she still holds the record for scoring number ones in America from the same album, over three successive years.
