Jennifer Hudson On The Cover Of Vogue
Posted by Brian Jennifer Hudson becomes only the third time black woman to be selected as covergirl for Vogue. The other two were Oprah and Halle Berry, so definitely putting her in some select company.
Now the bad part is the pictures that they used. Jennifer has some amazing pictures, but the ones for the magazine are average at best. Why do they have to have her mouth open all wide? You can see some of her other pics of Jennifer here and here.
2007 Grammy Awards
Posted by BrianThe 2007 Grammy Awards were one of the few times that I have enjoyed an entire awards show. The performances were outstanding and there was not too much of one or two people like usual. The big winners were Mary J. Blige, T.I., and Ludacris just to name a few.
I was pretty surprised while during her speech Mary J. said she had never won a Grammy before. That is shocking. Glad she can not say that anymore because she deserved a Grammy a long time ago. For all of the winners go here.

Jennifer Hudson Wins Best Supporting Actress
Posted by BrianNot everyone was in Miami this weekend. Jennifer Hudson looked fabulous as she attended the Directors Guild of America Awards over the weekend. Congratulations as she won Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role. 2007 will definitely be her year.
Go to her site here to watch the video her winning the award and acceptance speech.
A couple of names from the past were also in attendance and good to see: Charles Dutton and Carl Weathers. I like to prefer to them as Roc and Action Jackson, Respectively
