Kelly Rowland Passes Out From Dehydration
Posted by BrianThe former Destiny’s Child singer is said to be doing well after taking a fall on stage due to dehydration.
KELLY ROWLAND had fans worried when she collapsed on stage from dehydration during a show in Lagos, Nigeria.
On the road to promote her second solo album, Ms. Kelly, the former of DESTINY’S CHILD singer traveled to the West African nation to join the ThisDay Music Festival.
She was taken to a local hospital where she was treated and released. Her rep says that Kelly is back on her feet and in good condition, adding that she will return to the States to continue promotion for the album.
Hope she is alright and recovers okay!
Kelly Rowland Has Release Party, Album Sales Suck
Posted by BrianLast night, Kelly Rowland held her release party last night in New York for her album, “Ms. Kelly.” Not sure why she waited until a week after the album was released to have a party. That’s like celebrating your birthday a week late.
Although she has done a lot of appearances and received a lot of hype, sound scan estimates only have her selling 95,000 copies in the first week.
The real kicker is according to YBF, the DJ only played two of her songs and played Beyonce and Jay-Z’s songs all night. Might be time to leave the Knowles Camp!!
New Releases - July 3, 2007
Posted by RodT.I. is set to release his 5th album T.I. vs. T.I.P. With productions from Wyclef, Mannie Fresh, Timbaland and Just Blaze, if the rest of the album is as nice as his first couple of singles this could be his best one yet.
Kelly Rowland will be dropping her 2nd solo album today entitled Ms. Kelly. Originally entitled My Story, Rowland wasn’t sold on the vibe of the original album so she added productions by Scott Storch and Sean Garrett. I’ll be honest, I don’t have her first solo, but “Like This” is a hot joint and I think I will be copping Ms. Kelly today.

Kelly Rowland Talks to Vibe
Posted by BrianIn advance of her upcoming June 26th musical release, “Ms. Kelly”; Kelly Rowland sat down and talked with Vibe.
A pretty middle of the road interview that did not reveal very much. The interesting quote form the article was when Kelly was asked “What is it like living in Beyonce’s Shadow? Her response was “The Lord brought me and Michelle into B’s life and look what kind of heights we soared to.”
We all know that Beyonce was the star, but I thought Kelly went a long way into making Destiny’s Child as successful as they were. The Knowles family must have a curse on her. She even talks about Solange doing one of the songs for her. To read the full article, go here.
