If you are not from Chicago, you may not know the name George Daniels as well, but he is the owner of a popular record store and has been defending R. Kelly for yearsssss! In November his George Daniel’s wife, Regina Daniels, quit as R. Kelly’s publicist because they found out he had slept with their 21 year old daughter.

George Daniels is now speaking out. He says:

 ”He crossed the line with my daughter. It didn’t get to the extreme of that [sex tape] video or else I wouldn’t be here, if you know what I’m talking about.”

Maxine, who was 21 when the relationship occurred, is still in college at Northern Illinois University and “doing very well,” Daniels tells KJLH’s morning show host Guy Black.  Though his daughter was of legal age, he says Kelly still took advantage of her.

      “When you’re 21, and if you’ve been there already like I’ve been many years ago, you’re still 15 to 16 mentally. You’re vulnerable,” Daniels explained.

Daniels said he and his wife would hear rumors about her daughter and Kelly having relations, and it took a while for his daughter to come clean and admit it. When she finally did, Daniels said he immediately confronted Kelly.

      “He denied it. He lied to me to my face. The reason that I’m talking abut this, it’s not just for me, it’s not for my wife, it’s not for my daughter, but it’s for the public. It’s for other fathers and mothers because it doesn’t have to be a superstar, it could be the dude on the corner. There are guys who sit around and give your child a couple of bucks to go to school and then wait until they get a little older, then they set that trap. See, so I’m doing this really for everyone.”

Is anyone really surprised? Didn’t think so.

 For those artist that have not figured it out, R. Kelly is not the person you want to go on tour with. It just does not work! Much like the Best of Both Worlds Tour a few years back with Jay-Z, Ne-Yo is saying that Kells was pissed because his show was tighter than his. Can everyone be lying on Kells?

Well, Ne-Yo wants his money for the canceled dates and is suing R. Kelly for $785,000. This is the payment for the remaining dates. Maybe I am out of my mind, but I thought popular artists made WAY more than that for that many shows. Guess that is why they are constantly out there grinding.

It might be a while before Ne-Yo can get Kells to court because there are a couple of cases already in front of him.

According to reports from the Chicago Sun-Times, the young girl featured in the R. Kelly “Sex tape” is planning to take the stand in the alleged child pornography case scheduled for next month.

The woman who is now 22, will be expected to testify that she is not the girl on the video.

Prosecutors will be calling friends, relatives, friends’ parents and others to testify she was the girl in the video and appears to be about 14 when it was made.

Now here where it gets tricky…the girl’s father played bass for R. Kelly’s band and has shared with police and the grand jury that his daughter is not the girl on the “tape.” On the other hand, the girl’s aunt, close friends and friend’s parents have confirmed to the Sun-Times that it was her and she appeared to be approximately 14 at the time.

This will be a very interesting case. It is scheduled to start on September 17 and is expected to last about three to four weeks.

SOUNDS LIKE A “PAYOFF” TOOK PLACE HERE, let’s see how it pans out. 

Five years have passed and Robert Kelly, 40, will finally go on trial for accusations of child pornography on September 17th in Chicago.

Kelly, faces up to 15 years in prison for videotaping himself having sex with a minor who is said to be 13 years of age.

The trial was stated to be delayed due to arguments over when the tape was made and the judge needing time to recover from broken bones after falling. The proclaimed King of R&B has pleaded not guilty.

First of all, is there only one judge in Chicago that can handle child porn cases. If I am not mistaken, isn’t Chicago one of the biggest city’s in the midwest. Damn Judge…most people only need 6 months or so to recover from some broken bones after falling, but 5 years, that is ridiculous.

Like many folks I have seen the sex tape as well. R. Kelly—its a long shot for you to get outta this one buddy! She did look rather young and its disgusting to even think that she was only 13 or 14.  Not only that, he has a history of this behavior…don’t forget he married Aaliyah who was a teen at the time. It will be interesting to see what happens in this case…I believe its “Curtains”…10-15 years for Kelly, Oooh Oh…Oooh, oh, oh, oh oh!    

R Kelly will be writing 10 more episodes of “Trapped in the Closet” for IFC, who recently acqired the rights.  The network will run the original 12 and the 2 are working on the last 10. 

The Hip-Hopera which had more turns and twists than a six flags rollercoaster was cool at first but, COME ON.

Wasn’t there a midget in one of those episodes,  I understand making your money but Kel’s is trippin on this one.  You know all the enthuiasm that was built for trapped is long gon, and I’m from Chicago.

Do me a favor Kel’s and beat it.  Get Out my Life.

R. Kelly, Michael Jackson and several other music publishers have filed a federal lawsuit against Jay’s 40/40 Club stating that it is engaged in copyright infringement.

A BMI researcher made a surprise visit to the Club in 2006 and found several “unlicensed” songs being played through the sound system. Some of these songs included MJ’s “Billie Jean” and “Don’t Stop,” Kelly’s “Thoia Thoing,” Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” and Omarian’s “Touch.”

Though Jay is not named in the lawsuit, co owner-Desiree Gonzales and Juan Perez are accused of ignoring licensing rules to avoid paying royalties on  several songs.

People will sue for anything these days. The royalties off these song selections can’t really be that significant. I could be wrong, GET MONEY
