 R. Kelly and Usher teamed up on a song named “Same Girl,” for R. Kelly’s New album, “Double Up.” Basically they both are telling a story of a girl that they are messing with and as they describe her, they realize they both are being played because she is messing with both of them. Not the best song I have ever heard and even could say it is slightly disappointing since I would expect a little better from the two of them. Oh well!! The radio will still play the hell out of it.

Roughly 2 weeks after a gunman kills 32 students at Virginia Tech University (here) R Kelly announces that he has written a song “Rise Up” to aid in the healing process. The song will be released digitally on May 15th and 100 percent of the net proceeds will go to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund.

A sample lyric from the song: “Rise up, when you feel you can’t go on, rise up, and all of your hope is gone, rise up, when you’re weak and you can’t be strong.”

It’s good to see that some positive steps are being made by some celebrities to aid in the recovery process for these students and families.

 

Without reading the magazine, you know R. Kelly is going to be telling a sad story about how the media treated him and made him lose his family, and how it is him against the world.

Five Years!! The damn girl has a family by now. They can’t bring her old ass in the court room as a witness. Gray hair and a walker.

Five years and they are not even close to bringing it to court…Drop the case!

New song from Young Jeezy Featuring R. Kelly – Go Getta. The song is hot, but the video is nothing special. People way too close to the screen.

In related news, R. Kelly had his appendix removed today and is doing fine.
