Rihanna has just received another Crown to add to her trophy case- she has topped a new U.S. magazine poll aimed at naming the stars with the best hairstyles. Rihanna beat out Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Aniston to top the In Touch Best Hair In Hollywood list. In 2007, Rihanna won the best legs accolade.

 R+B singer Rihanna has become the new face of fashion house Gucci - as part of a charity campaign. The Umbrella hitmaker has been named as the spokeswoman for the company’s new scheme with UNICEF - which will see a variety of limited edition products sold to raise money for good causes. And she will appear in a new series of adverts to promote the Tattoo Heart campaign. The singer also supports her own charity The Believe Foundation, which she set up in 2006.

In a performance at the “This Day Music and Fashion Festival 2008″ in Abuja, Nigeria a drunken brawl broke out right in front of the stage @ 1am. Security guards attempted to break up the scuffle as members of the crowd were shoved towards the platform and one man was removed from the venue-The Dome. It is unclear whether the unnamed male was arrested, as one source claimed, or was simply forbidden from re-entering the concert. Though marred by violence, nobody was seriously injured. The show also saw performances from rap superstar Jay-Z and pop star Rihanna.

British rockers Coldplay have been ousted from the top of the U.K. singles chart by R&B singer Ne-Yo.  The band’s latest release ‘Viva La Vida’ topped the chart last wee, but the track has now been beaten into second place by Ne-Yo’s latest hit ‘Closer.’

American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has leapt up seven places to number three with ‘No Air’ featuring Chris Brown. And Brown himself is at number four with ‘Forever.’

The top five is rounded out by Brown’s rumored girlfriend Rihanna, who is at five with ‘Take A Bow.’

R&B star Rihanna insists the press have got it wrong about her romance with Chris Brown, because they are “just good friends”.  The pair has been inseparable for months, vacationing together, being photographed smooching and even exchanging expensive jewelery and getting matching tattoos etched.

But the Umbrella hitmaker insists they are only friends, and are definitely not sleeping together.  During an appearance on U.S. TV show The View on Monday, Rihanna said, “We hang out a lot. We are very close. He’s an amazing person. But we are not dating. We are very close, very, very close.”

When grilled on the difference between their friendship and ‘dating’, Rihanna replied, “There’s a big difference and I think you know what.”

Maybe I don’t know what constitutes dating anymore, but it sounds to me like they are in fact dating.  CB just hasn’t quite closed the deal yet.
