Veteran Actor Intimidated By Upcoming Role
Posted by BrianMorgan Freeman has admitted that he is a little intimidated by his upcoming role as Nelson Mandela in the new film The Human Factor. Freeman is currently mastering Mandela’s voice and heavy accent stating that this will be the most challenging role of his whole career. In a recent interview, he says, “I’ve met Mandela several times and it’s the one role which does intimidate me. How do you play a man like that? You have to get it right – otherwise there’s no point.” The Human Factor is based on the John Carlin’s book Playing the Enemy: Nelson Mandela + The Game That Made a Nation.
Nate Dogg:Broke and Locked Up
Posted by BrianNate Dogg will remain in jail after failing to raise enough bail money following his “stalking” arrest.  Nathaniel Hale, was arrested on June 23rd after a car chase with his ex-wife. He was charged with three felony counts of making criminal threats and stalking, and one misdemeanor count of driving with a suspended license. After a court appearance in Los Angeles on Wednesday, the wheelchair-bound rap star was remanded into custody and bail was set at $100,000. He was also ordered to stay 100 yards away from his ex-wife, Latoya. Nate Dogg will remain in custody until he can come up with the bail money.
Sad story…what happened to the Cash Flow that was reaped during the G-Funk era. DAmn Nate, DAMN!
Coolio Goes Green

The Grammy award winner has teamed up with Environmental Justice and Climate Change (EJCC) and will visit historically black colleges and universities. According to EJCC director Nia Robinson, the campaign is geared toward engaging a “diverse group of African American youth in the fight for climate justice”.
Glad to hear folks are stepping up to the plate to save the world. Please do everything you can to pitch in-whether its recycling, conserving water, etc. Everyone plays a part in saving our environment!!!Â

Music magazine Rolling Stone invited readers to vote for the best threesome on its website at the end of last week as a tribute to rockers Rush, who feature in the new issue of the publication. The Canadian rockers came in fifth, behind the Jimi Hendrix Experience, Nirvana, Cream and The Police.
Rick Ross: Believe it or Not?

Ross, upset, has lashed back stating that the photos have been digitally altered. In an interview with AllHiphop.com, he explains, ” My life is 100 per cent real. These online hackers putting a picture of my face when I was a teenager in high school on other peoples’ body. If this s**t was real don’t you think they would have more specifics, like dates and everything? I’m in the entertainment business and a lot of people like to hate because I’m on top of my game. Like I said before my life is 100 per cent real. I live by this, die by this. Fake pictures are created by the fake, meant to entertain the fake.”Â

Rihanna Teams Up With Gucci For Charity
Posted by Brian R+B singer Rihanna has become the new face of fashion house Gucci – as part of a charity campaign. The Umbrella hitmaker has been named as the spokeswoman for the company’s new scheme with UNICEF – which will see a variety of limited edition products sold to raise money for good causes. And she will appear in a new series of adverts to promote the Tattoo Heart campaign. The singer also supports her own charity The Believe Foundation, which she set up in 2006.
