More great news on Will Smith’s Hancock- the film has hit number one on the global box office chart! Over the weekend it took in $78.3 million internationally. The runner ups were as follows:

Another great Will Smith performance lands Hancock atop of the Box Office this July 4th weekend raking in $66 million. Weekend estimates mean that the black superhero has topped $100 million since Hancock hit the scene on Tuesday.
Records Broken:
*Hancock is Smith’s fifth movie to open at number one in the U.S. over the Fourth of July weekend
*Will Smith becomes the first star to score eight $100 million movies in a row.
