Rumormill: Obama to Bring Kanye Out @ Lollapalooza

Posted by Brian

Barack Obama is rumored to be introducing Kanye West at a performance at a Chicago festival in a bid to appeal to hip hop fans. Apparently, Obama has a slot free in his schedule to appear at the three-day Lollapalooza festival and is expected to make a brief appearance onstage. The politician recently told U.S. TV show What’s In It For Us, “I’ve met with Kanye. And I’ve talked to other artists about how potentially to bridge that gap. I think the potential for them to deliver a message of extraordinary power that gets people thinking is massive.” The Lollapalooza festival takes place in Chicago, Illinois’ Grant Park from August 1-3rd.

West Lashes Back @ Ghostwriter Attack

Posted by Brian

Kanye has published photos of himself on http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/ to prove that he updates and writes his own blogs. Marcus Troy, a fellow blogger has recently accused Yeezy of employing a ghostwriter for his site. West captioned the photograph above with: “I don’t know who the hell this is… but I covered his name and face so he wouldn’t get the publicity he was obviously lookin’ for.”

This is hilarious, Cmon Marcus. I guess I have to say it again, “If they hate, then let them hate, and watch the money pile up!” I will always respect ”Academic Honesty”- If you say its you…its you! FLAT OUT!!!!!

Kanye West In Need Of Anger Management

Posted by Brian

Kanyeezy is reportedly headed for anger management due to his frequent mood swings and outbursts made on national television. In a report with The Sun paper, Mr. West’s managment team tells, “We came up with the idea. His mood swings were beginning to play a part in his commercial enterprises as people felt he was miserable all the time.”

Remember back in September 2005 when he made a controversial attack on George Bush during a live Hurricane Katrina fundraising telethon (look at Chris Tucker’s Face-hialrious)+ his recent attacks on MTV-Kanye is the truth and tells the truth. He does not need anger management classes, he just speaks whats on his mind…that’s the reality of being an artist…the freedom to speak and say whatever the hell you want. If you don’t like it…don’t listen! If they hate, then late em’ hate, and watch the money pile up!

Amy Winehouse vs Kanye West

Posted by Brian

At the British music festival in Glastonbury held on Saturday, June 28th, an upset Amy Winehouse hit the stage lashing out on Kanye West ranting, ” I am pleased to be opening for Jay-Z…imagine if it was a c**t like Kanye West! C**ts like Kanye’-should be his next album title.”

Jay Z who was watching the show from side stage admits he was a little upset when Winehouse turned on his “brother” during a rant in which she attempted to defend festival organizers for hiring Jay-Z as Glastonbury’s first rap headliner. In an interview with MTV.com, Jay-Z states, “She said something about Kanye late on (in her set) but I didn’t hear it and I don’t agree with it. He’s my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-a-fella right now. I guess I should hook them up because he’s a great guy too. I don’t know what the problem is – I don’t know where that came from.”

Of course, Kanye received the message and has laughed it all off. In a post on his website, he explains, “This just in…Amy Winehouse hates me!!! Now I’ve really made it!!! LOL!!!!”

I am laughing out loud right now! Who the hell listens or cares about what a crackhead has to say! I watched her Glastonbury performance and couldn’t understand her lyrics or one word this crazy broad said during her conversations with the crowd. Sounds like she was moaning in the microphone or using those lyrics when you want to sing a song, but really don’t know the words and you start to mumble. I hear alot of people talk about Amy Winehouse’s talent, but I am yet to see any of it. Can someone PLEASE explain to me how she made it BIG? …Crazy B**ch-GET OUTTA HERE!!!!! To see her performance click here.

P.S.-Winehouse also punched a fan during her set as well…more here.

BET Awards Recap-West Wins Big, T-Pain’s Slo Mo…

Posted by Brian

Kanye West was the big winner at the BET awards show that aired last night in LA. West brought home the Best Male Hip Hop Artist as well as Best Collaboration with T-Pain on their Good Life Track. T-Pain was funny as hell when he walked to/from the stage in slo-motion enjoying every minute of the spot light. I was happy for them both, but really appreciated T-Pain’s speech as he explained, “Two years ago I couldn’t even afford a ticket to get in here maan, thanks to the fans…” Lots of folks hate on T-Pain, but that dude is on every hott radio song out these days-he’s brilliant and adds a lot to hip hop music.
